Planning the expedition

The main people who helped Christopher Columbus were the king and queen of Spain because they gave him two large ships and their best vessel. They also gave him a crew and what he needed to complete his voyage to get more gold, to dominate India and to get more power.
After his first voyage, many people wanted to sail with Christopher Columbus and most of his companions came mainly from Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla other areas, Basque, Canary Islands and Aragón; among them, Miguel Cuneo y Vicente Yáñez Pinzón.
